Research Activity
- The goals for research and quality assurance include to identify relevant research questions and participate, as an expert group, in research. Moreover, to evaluate ECR-rounds, to explore how patients and parents and be involved an participate in clinical ethics support services and to investigate innovative methods for these services.
- New knowledge can also include surveys in the Nordic countries with regard to differences in law, policies, values attached to truth-telling, the role of parents, collaboration between different health care personnel categories etc.
- A continuous ethical discussion within the WGE will likely also highlight values and arguments in a way that might represent new knowledge To disseminate this knowledge, in the pediatric oncology community and society at large, by educational efforts and publishing results of our work. Below follows a publication list on relevant ethics research work that includes authors who are members of this group”
